Unlike many of us, Kim Kardashian flew across the world to buy the exact same vintage&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.com\/fashion-shows\/designer\/chanel\">Chanel<\/a>&nbsp;necklace&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.com\/article\/vintage-chanel-barbie\">worn in the&nbsp;<em>Barbie<\/em>&nbsp;movie<\/a>. Stars, they really aren\u2019t just like us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While chaperoning her daughter North West and a friend on a trip to Japan, Kim gamely sang karaoke in costume, which she called \u201cher biggest fear\u201d on Instagram (any selfless mother can presumably relate). So to treat herself, Kimberly went shopping at Vintage Ecoland, a vintage hotspot in Nagoya. While it has an extensive Chanel collection, the outpost also carries goods from many other heavy hitters, including Prada, Herm\u00e8s, Cartier, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kardashian picked up a bubblegum pink patent leather mini vanity bag, which is complete with a gold, interlocking C clasp. But the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance of Kim\u2019s Chanel haul is the pearl teardrop necklace adorned with multicolored crystal and, or course, the interlocking C logo, which she draped over the top of her quilted top handle bag. The statement piece, which was worn by Margot Robbie in the film, is a rare piece from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.com\/fashion-shows\/spring-1995-ready-to-wear\/chanel#review\">Chanel\u2019s 1995 spring ready-to-wear collection<\/a>, worn on the runway by Shalom Harlow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kardashian has become a collector of rare items\u2014particularly jewelry\u2014that belonged to some of history\u2019s most famous people, a fact not terribly surprising after she wore Marilyn Monroe\u2019s \u201cHappy Birthday, Mr. President\u201d dress to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.com\/slideshow\/kim-kardashian-met-gala-looks-red-carpet\">2021 Met Gala<\/a>. Recently, she made headlines when she bought&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vogue.com\/article\/kim-kardashian-purchases-rare-princess-diana-cross-necklace\">Princess Diana&#8217;s amethyst cross necklace<\/a>&nbsp;at auction for just under $200,000 at Sotheby\u2019s.
